I am Marina Ferri.
As a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach, I help people get to the root cause of their health concerns and restore balance with realistic and actionable nutrition and lifestyle changes.
My approach is grounded in the principles of personalised nutrition and lifestyle medicine, addressing the whole person, not just the symptoms, by considering diet, lifestyle, sleep, stress, mindset, movement, and personal health and wellness goals.
I combine this holistic approach with the latest scientific research in nutrition through my ongoing postgraduate studies in Clinical Nutrition.
Common areas I support include: hormonal imbalances, women’s health, fatigue and low energy, weight issues, digestive and gut issues, stress and burnout, food sensitivities and intolerances, inflammation, autoimmune conditions, chronic health conditions, and skin health.
Born and raised in Italy, a passion for good, real food runs through my veins.
After completing my first degree in Milan, I relocated to London and pursued an MSc at Reading University, drawn to the fast-paced world of real estate investment. This led to a 20+ year corporate career where I often operated at full speed, giving little thought to nutrition, lifestyle, or mental and physical wellbeing. Like many, I juggled the demands of work, life, two children, and two dogs, until my fast-paced lifestyle began to take its toll.
During the pandemic, I was forced to slow down. It was then that I discovered Pilates: a practice that allowed me to reconnect with my mind and body on a deeper level. Inspired, I trained as a Pilates instructor, which sparked a broader passion for health and wellbeing.
Around the same time, I discovered Nutritional Therapy and experienced its profound impact on my own body, mindset and lifestyle. This personal journey inspired me to retrain as a Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach, so I could help others take control of their health.
I am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Clinical Nutrition at Aberdeen University, which equips me with the latest research and scientific insights into the connection between nutrition and health. This knowledge enables me to provide my clients with evidence-based guidance to support their well-being.
